The proper management and development of your information technology is THE cornerstone of being successful in your use of these resources to bring your practice to the next level. Information technology is often just sold to a practice followed by every attempt to avoid spending time making sure the practice uses their new technology properly, integrates it with their other technology resources and daily operations well and generally making sure the expectations are met that were built by the vendor's sales process. It is also almost never the case that the information technology vendors spend any time at all, without great additional expense anyway, coordinating the technology resources of the practice to bring the whole system, regardless of where each piece of technology came from, up to its potential.

Our encrypted off-site backup service is now included in our Knowledge, Information and Data Management service. The data you want to preserve in backups is now encrypted at your site and sent to us weekly. We rotate external hard drives (up to 1TB per physician) so that there is always one on your site collecting new backup data and one at our site in case you have a catastrophic failure of your system. We cannot read the data as it is encrypted before it ever leaves your site with a key you create. If anyone else gets their hands on it either in transit or from our storage it will be of no use to them.

5) Construct your systems so that you and/or your staff can access them securely and reliably from anywhere so you can do your work when and from where you need to rather than have to do it only when you are physically in your primary office.


6) Automate analysis of your billing and general ledger data to help keep your charges, costs and revenue in the proper balance for how you want to operate your practice.

You are NOT limited to the examples we listed here. If you can think of it we are more than willing to determine whether or not we can support and/or construct the solution for you. No matter what we are doing we do not charge any more than our fixed rates for our time. Sometimes there are expenses from third parties required to get something you want accomplished. These expenses are in addition to our fixed rates but carry no markup at all. You pay those additional expenses directly. You get the most out of your investments because we are not soaking up your dollars in markups for things we did not do.

 
 

What is the cost?
We provide a very simple and predictable cost model with NO START UP FEE.

  These prices are calibrated for full time providers when pre-paying the month (or year) of our Information Technology Management and Development Services. If you actually see patients and write direct patient documents (the only parts of your work we use in arriving at your final cost) less than full time then we will pro-rate these for you based on what your normal weeks look like.  It is not calculated week by week or adjusted for holidays and vacations and the like.  The rate is based on what your normal work week looks like and stays there unless a fundamental change in your overall work schedule/load takes place or analysis of your data reveals a different long term average load.

Sometimes a task, project, initiative or repair requires expenses other than our staff time in order to succeed. These expenses are in addition to our rates but are paid directly by your practice to the relevant vendor or vendors and carry no mark up. All of your dollars work for YOU. We do not mark up things we didn't do just because we arranged it or made the decisions on what was needed.
